After two years, The Rio Theatre is bringing back Vancouver’s only full-on celebration of genre cinema, The Rio Grind Film Festival.
Running until Sunday, October 26, the festival will feature a fantastic collection of some of the best in alternative action, horror, science fiction and fantasy short films, documentaries and dramas from B.C., Canada and around the world, including the B.C. Premieres of the horror anthology The ABCs of Death 2, Cannes Film Festival 2014 Grand Prix Winner The Tribe, Spring (World Premiere TIFF 2014) and the Australian end-of-days thriller These Final Hours (Cannes Film Festival 2014, Director’s Fortnight Official Selection).
