The Proclaimers Vancouver 2016 concert at the Commodore Ballroom

The Proclaimers are coming to the Commodore Ballroom Tuesday, October 11 as part of a seven-month world tour, with Canadian stops in Vancouver, Winnipeg, and Calgary.

The Scottish duo, who formed the band in 1983 and are perhaps best known for their euphoric 1988 single “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles),” have an impressive 10 studio albums to their name. Carving out a niche for themselves in the netherworld where pop, folk, new wave, and punk collide, The Proclaimers have gained a loyal fan base from across the globe.
