Good morning foodies!
If you’re looking to jazz up tonight’s dinner – I got an appetizer in mind for you. I call it the Perfect Smoked Salmon Mousse – well, simply because it is perfection!
Perfect Smoked Salmon Mousse Recipe
500 g of Smoked Salmon
400 g of Cream Cheese
3 tablespoon heavy cream
1 tbsp lemon juice & zest (to your taste)
2 tbsp minced chives
1 tbsp minced thyme
Pinch of Cayenne Pepper
Dill Springs (for garnish)
Directions:
Puree the Smoked Salmon in a food processor until smooth
Add in the cream cheese (must be at room temperature!). Puree until fluffy.
Drizzle in a few tablespoons of the cream to thin out the mousse. Add in the lemon juice, zest, cayenne, chives & thyme.
Light, fluffy & extremely flavorful.
