Local Musicians Giving Back - HUM Concert for The Lipstick Project

Dec 19 2017, 5:32 pm

Music can heal, and that’s what this concert on February 6 at the Performance Works is all about. Come support amazing musicians and know that all proceeds will go towards helping The Lipstick Project provide free professional spa services to men and women in local hospices to help them through the tough times.

Lip Sync is a concert created by an organization with a mandate to spread peace through music called HUM (Healing Using Music). The night is a sure way to get your lips smacking, fingers tapping and everything in between. The concert will happen on February 6th at Performance Works on Granville Island.

While the wait might be brutal the price for a ticket is far from it – all tickets are by donation and all proceeds will be going to The Lipstick Project.  The Lipstick Project is a local non-profit organization that gives hospitalized men and women spa treatments and makeup.  Check out this amazing TED talk by Leigh Boyle, the executive director and founder of TLP.

If all of this still hasn’t convinced you, we will be having incredible performers all night including Gio Levy, Anna TothDaniel Heffner, and Jeremy Lim.

Save the date! Circle it with lipstick. Add it to your phone. Set a reminder. Even a countdown, because this evening will be simply amazing.

Make sure to RSVP and purchase your tickets for Lip Sync soon as they are selling fast!
