The Lean Crossroad: The Entrepreneurs

On Tuesday August 21, Lean Startup Vancouver is back at it with another fantastic event for the entrepreneurial community at large. The Lean Crossroad: The Entrepreneurs supplements the Lean Crossroads meetup back in June, highlighting how the tech industry has become increasingly aware of the Lean Startup movement – the transformation of how new products are built and launched.

Kate Rutter [@katerutter] is Co-Founder and Product Designer at LUXr, a startup company dedicated to delivering education products for early-stage entrepreneurs and product teams.

Patrick Vlaskovits [@Pv] Cofounder at Superpowered. Co-wrote The Lean Entreprener & The Entrepreneur’s Guide to Customer Development. Organizer at Twiistup & Los Angeles Lean Startup Circle. Eric Ries wrote about Patrick and Brant’s The Lean Entrepreneur.

Brant Cooper [@brantcooper] Principal at Market By Numbers. As the author of the popular Lean Startup book “The Entrepreneur’s Guide to Customer Development.”, he is a sought-after writer, speaker and consultant.

David Ulevitch [@davidu] is the founder and CEO of OpenDNS, the world’s largest DNS and security organization, today making the Internet safer for more than 30 million people around the world. David was also at the last meetup in June by Lean Startup Vancouver.

Sean Ellis [@SeanEllis] CEO/Founder CatchFree.  First marketer at Dropbox, Lookout, Xobni, LogMeIn (IPO), and Uproar (IPO). Sean also helped accelerate growth at Eventbrite, Socialcast, Webs, World Golf Tour, WordPress.com and Songkick.

The event will be moderated by non other than: Mack Flavelle. You will be hard pressed to find an event that this comical entrepreneur does not moderate.

Location:  Fletcher Challenge Theatre at SFU Harbour Centre (515 West Hastings Street, Vancouver).
