The Fair at the PNE August 21 - Sept 6

Tomorrow is the start of the PNE (Pacific National Exhibition) and you know what that means? Yes, there is a 60% chance of rain ha! All jokes aside, tonight organizers are kicking off the 100th anniversary of the fair by having a Macy’s style parade down the streets of the West End. Oh and on Sunday, I hear it’s free admission (until noon but there will be long lineups)  and the weather will be decent, so…

For many Vancouverites the main attraction is the ride, however, I’m not sure if there are any exciting new rides this year. For the ones they do have expect long lineups. Others are fans of the concert series and some just go to hang out with friends. Whatever the case may be, it’s a summer time tradition for many. Let’s hope the weather cooperates this year.
