The air is sweeter, the sky is bluer and as the sun shines down brighter as I witness the joy of a city while walking to work. This is a joy unlike any other. A joy that can not be replicated by mega projects or social projects alone. Yes folks, this is the joy of the Stanley Cup playoffs. A time in which “We are all Canucks”. A time where strangers can carry on lengthy conversations about the team they cheer for as if they have known each other for years.
Yes we will march down Robson after every victory, screaming, yelling, cheering and honking our car horns disrupting the local NIMBY’s and tourists. The city is alive my friends and I can’t wait for tonight.
