Last week, Vancity Buzz got the chance to test out the most fuel efficient wheels on the Toyota market: The Toyota 2015 Prius C model.
As it turns out, it is quite the practical ride for everyday uses.
For all the trips made this week, I probably only filled up around $15 dollars and still had half a tank left before I had to give back the car.
The car may look small from the outside, but its interior was still quite spacious for my family’s needs.
Similar to the Toyota Evo Car Share vehicles, the Prius C 2015 model also displayed a quick statistics of the car. I particularly found the fuel economy data quite interesting, perhaps even revolutionary for my budget and travel management needs.
This week-long adventure on wheels started off with a good-hearty breakfast at Jethro’s Fine Grub. They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so we went all out.
A few days later, I drove down to 6-Pack Indoor Beach in Richmond to play a few games of Archery Tag! I got lost getting there at first, but the integrated GPS seemed to stay calm for me. Luckily, it helped me get there too.
Over the weekend, we took advantage of the gorgeous sunny weather and went for a bit of a drive.
To the Sea-to-Sky Gondola! It was the perfect clear day to go exploring and walk around the trails up here.
Overall, it was a smooth ride and the engine throughout was quiet. In terms of practicality and fuel efficiency, it was perfect. This hybrid vehicle also doesn’t need to be charged and the regenerative breaking technology charges the battery. Go ahead and take it for a spin yourself, if you’re looking to purchase a car soon!
