Update: Sources indicate that Tesla’s Vancouver Showroom will open at 929 Robson Street (Between Burrard and Hornby), in the former H2O location. The stretch on Robson between Granville and Bute is seeing some drastic and great changes.
Tesla Motors was founded in 2003 by a group of Silicon Valley engineers who set out to prove that electric vehicles could be efficient and look amazing. A decade later, Tesla cars can be seen in cities all over the world including Vancouver.
Tesla Motors has confirmed that they will be opening up on Robson Street sometime over the next few months. The exact location is not known, however, the space adjacent to Footlocker near Hornby and Robson Streets has just been leased and could house a possible Tesla Showroom.
This would be the car company’s second Canadian showroom. The first store was 2,500 square feet in size and opened in Mississauaga, Ontario last year. A Tesla service shop on the corner of Powell and Commercial Streets also opened earlier this year in Vancouver.
