Someone just took Christmas decorating to a whole new level.
A driver in Burnaby was ticketed Wednesday night after police pulled them over for having Christmas lights duct taped to their Tesla.
The driver was pulled over near Kingsway and McMurray Avenue.
Last night a Traffic Section officer stopped this Tesla near Kingsway and McMurray.
The lights were duct taped to the vehicle.
Please don’t do this, it can be dangerous if they fall off in traffic, never mind the distraction.

The Burnaby RCMP shared the incident on Twitter, saying, “Please don’t do this, it can be dangerous if they [the lights] fall off in traffic, never mind the distraction.”
The driver was issued a violation ticket.

The Burnaby RCMP asked the public to keep their lights on their trees and houses, and off of their vehicles in an effort to keep the roads safe.
