Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and reservation books are filling up across the city.

If you want to feel like you’re spending Valentine’s Day in Paris without actually going to Paris, this will be the place for you. This chic little bistro tucked in Gastown is the perfect mix of ambiance and delicious, unpretentious French fare. A live pianist will be performing on February 14th so the romance factor will be bumped up another notch for seatings between 5:30 and 10:00 p.m.

This brunch hotspot will be opening its doors for a special Valentine’s Day service. A multi-course, Mediterranean meal will be served at 7:30 p.m. this coming Saturday. There are a limited number of seats available so be sure to book your reservation quickly.

While some would think a vegetarian night out could be dull, The Acorn serves award-winning cuisine and some seriously delicious cocktails. They will be hosting a special Valentine’s Day dinner to impress your sweetie or your best friend. There are also a number of vegan, raw and gluten-free options available.

This classic dining spot features some of the best views of the city. You can treat someone special to a three-course Valentine’s dinner, or order a la carte from the regular menu. Follow up dinner and wine, with a walk through Queen Elizabeth Park. It’s a great spot for a first kiss or even to pop the question!

Chambar has always been beautiful, but with recent renovations, it’s even more worth a trip. This Belgian-inspired Seafood restaurant has just the right setting for a Valentine’s Day dinner, but you can also catch brunch if you are more into spending time at home come Saturday evening. The moules et frites (aka. mussels and french fries) would be the perfect thing to split with a nice bottle of white.

This little spot gets packed so either wait for a table or take a few pies to go and get cozy at home with some pizza and a bottle of wine.
