Canadian phone carriers offering free calls/texts to Belgium

In the wake of the terror attacks in Brussels that left at least 34 people dead and hundreds injured, local mobile carriers are offering free calls and texts to and from Belgium.

TELUS was the first to offer it, tweeting out that the offer is on until April 5.

Please connect with your loved ones in #Brussels. All calls and texts to and from the area are free until Apr. 5.

Wind Mobile is also offering a similar deal.

No other carriers have announced low-cost or free calls and texts to and from Belgium thus far.
