A teenager is in hospital after being stabbed in East Vancouver on Thursday afternoon.
Just before 4 pm, Vancouver Police were called to the No Frills grocery store, at 1460 East Hastings Street, where the stabbing reportedly took place.
The suspect fled the store and the 19-year-old victim was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
“This was a targeted attack and there is no risk to the public,” said the VPD in a release.
No arrests have been made yet and the investigation continues.
