Dec 19 2017, 8:16 pm

TEDxVancouver has released its third installment of speakers for the upcoming fifth edition of this event, taking place on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. This year marks the largest TEDx event in Vancouver’s history.

The third set of speakers includes:

  • Dr. Terry Pearson, a professor, medical industry entrepreneur, and disease diagnosis specialist whose revolutionary approach of capturing more personalized medical data could alter the face of medicine in the very near future.
  • Jeff Mudgett, former lawyer and business entrepreneur who put his career aside to seek the truth about a deep, dark family secret that put him in direct ancestral line to perhaps one of the most evil men to ever live, H.H. Holmes.
  • Coleen Christie, CTV News anchor who is using the power of television to try to make the world a better place. For over a decade, she has anchored a nightly television news broadcast, empowering viewers with information and connecting them to issues that matter and to each other.  Coleen brings a life of journalistic experience from behind the camera to the stage to shed light on the consumption of media in the Information Age.

Limited tickets are still available at www.tedxvancouver.com, and you can expect announcements in the very near future regarding this year’s TEDxVancouver host as well as final speaker additions.
