TEDxVancouver 2014, get ready to TILT. After a brief hiatus, TEDxVancouver is back in its 5th edition at the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Theatre on Saturday, October 18, 2014. This will mark the largest TEDxVancouver event in history. Attendees can expect an inspiring, thought-provoking program designed to awaken curiosity and shift perspectives.

In the coming months, the organizers will reveal the speaker lineup and ticket information. Mark your calendars and get ready to TILT.

This year’s theme is TILT, a concept that challenges the status-quo and the engrained patterns of the human psyche. Pushing our comfort zone creates openness and provides space to shift perspective. The result? Triumph. Change. New outcomes for possibility.

“Something remarkable happens when you face your fears and test your limits, whether it’s leaping from an airplane at ten thousand feet or that last deep inhale before taking the stage.TILT transpires the moment you make the move. You plunge away from what is comfortable to conquer barriers, real and imagined. This year’s event experience is designed to amplify perspective shifts that occur when we choose to tilt,” said Jordan Kallman, president of TEDxVancouver.

“TEDxVancouver 2014 is about inspiring different outcomes. Above and beyond an incredible line up of speakers, we are planning on maximizing the social interaction and networking experience for attendees. Through unique breakout areas and a few surprises that will be revealed the day of the event, attendees will have the chance to participate in a deeper level of community engagement.”
