Learn from top tech leaders and innovators at TechVancouver this week

The holiday season may be here, but the worlds of business and technology keep on turning.

That’s why TechVancouver is holding another edition of their monthly gathering of Vancouver tech leaders and innovators on Tuesday, December 10, at the Roundhouse Community Arts and Recreation Centre.

Attendees can network with other tech professionals, share their own projects on the community open mic, and learn knowledge and expertise from industry leaders. There will also be complimentary food and drinks.

Each month’s theme is different, with December’s event focused on Building Products for the Fortune 500. Isaac Oslund, co-founder and CEO of Bananatag, will share his experience at TechVancouver. Bananatag was founded in 2011 and has offices in Kelowna and Vancouver.

Their platform enables communications teams to create and send modern, targeted employee communications. This helps companies make strategic decisions, receive feedback, and share their success within the organization.

TechVancouver attendees will learn insights on building and scaling enterprise products for companies like Samsung, GE, and IKEA, bootstrapping a successful business to over 100 employees in two cities, and fostering personal growth that matches the rapid pace of your company’s growth

Also speaking this month is William Johnson, director of marketing at Innovate BC, a crown corporation that connects innovators of all sizes with BC Government funding, resources, tools, and support.
