Team Canada soccer girls' lip sync video will brighten your day

Canada’s Woman’s Soccer Team is all about having fun on and off the pitch, and an endearing video posted by midfielder Kaylyn Kyle proves just that.

According to Kyle, the team sent four players to an Edmonton London Drugs earlier this week to pick up some new speakers, but it appears the ladies got a little distracted while browsing the store (as we all do). While someone filmed, the four girls broke out into a choreographed lip sync to OMI’s popular song “Cheerleader”, dancing along with cleaning equipment and other props.

The 1:10 minute video has been seen on Facebook 97,000 times, and even London Drugs themselves showed support, commenting: “Nice dance moves! Thank you and the team for visiting our store! We’re so proud of you all and would love to give you & the rest of our national team some free audio gear to keep the music going! Please send us a message!

The video will most definitely put a smile on your face and stir some major Canadian pride before Team Canada plays New Zealand tonight at 6 p.m. PST.
