Talents prepare to take the World of Dance Vancouver stage by storm

As World of Dance Vancouver 2015 draws nearer, we decided to take a look at a few of the talents that will be on show. Established in 2008, the World of Dance Tour is an annual dance competition, taking place in 17 international markets. The unparalleled experience given to participants and spectators has quickly built WOD’s reputation as the authority in urban dance and lifestyle.

Travis Lim

This 14-year-old phenomenon has been setting the dance world alight since the tender age of six. Based in Vancouver, this junior world champion of the WORLD HIPHOP CHAMPIONSHIPS, and six-time gold medalist of DANCE WORLD CUP CANADA, has the future at his feet.

WilldaBeast

Will “WilldaBeast” Adams found a love for choreography through his unique style of movement, which has allowed him to choreograph for artists like T-Pain and Tiesto. Originally from Indiana, Willdabeast has performed for influential artists and has also appeared on TV shows like Glee and America’s Best Dance Crew.

Kay Kay Harris

Kaelynn Gobert-Harris has been dancing since the age of five. By the age of 12, Kay Kay began to make a name for herself, gaining numerous accolades and dance scholarships. Kay Kay has now become a sought out industry dance instructor selling out classes all around the world.

World of Dance Vancouver 2015 takes place at the Croatian Cultural Centre on Saturday, July 11. Presented by Mission Of Care Association, the festival will feature a variety of attractions like food stands, apparel vendors and the Showdown Throwdown Streetdance Battle competition, this all-ages event is expecting over 2,000 attendees.
