TAIWANfest 2019 returns to downtown Vancouver this long weekend

TAIWANfest 2019 is making its annual return to downtown Vancouver this Labour Day weekend.

Continuing the Dialogues with Asia series, this year’s event celebrates “Riding the Waves with Vietnam.”

From Saturday, August 31 to Monday, September 2, festival-goers will be able to experience the untold stories of Taiwan and Vietnam through cuisine, fashion, tradition, and live performances.

Musical events include a Celebrate Women Concert, live performances on the eye-catching Taiwan Stage, The Robot Princess dance group, and the Metanioa Dance Group.

Not to mention, TAIWANfest will have no shortage of foodie events and culinary experiences, including a Street Banquet, a soy sauce test, Let’s Savour Taiwan, and a Friendship Kitchen.

TAIWANfest 2019 will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 10 pm, and Monday from 11 am to 6 pm.

Admission to the festival is free of charge.
