TAIWANfest in Canada is one of the world’s largest arts and cultural events outside of Taiwan.
While the festival was founded as a music event in Vancouver in 1990, the festival now draws inspirations and sets visions from the evolution of Taiwanese culture.
The largest Mandarin/English speaking event in Canada thrives on engaging meaningful partnerships to cultivate dialogues between newcomers and the rest of Canadians. The three-day festivities offer inspiring visual arts, exciting performances, tantalizing culinary treats, intriguing lifestyle experiences and lots of workshops and games to give you a new perspective on Taiwanese culture.
