Count one more in the Tacofino fleet: The much-loved taco and burrito restaurant is adding a Yaletown location, complete with bar and take-out service, to their Vancouver roster.
Tacofino Yaletown will boast a 40-seat dining room, plus a 16-seat patio, a full bar, and a take-out counter styled after their Gastown “Burrito Bar” set-up. The restaurant will occupy the space that was formerly Salad Works, at 1025 Mainland.
The interior will also echo Gastown, thanks to designer Shiloh Sukkau, who will once again infuse the space with that laid back, cool, surf-side California chic vibe. Look for the work of talented local artisans in the decor, too.
Of course on the menu diners can expect to find the same high-quality, eclectic Mexican-inspired fare, made with top of the line and ethically-sourced ingredients. Among Tacofino’s menu hits are their fish tacos (really, all their tacos), nachos, and burritos, and of course their terrific cocktails.

This is the fourth brick-and-mortar restaurant for Tacofino, which began with their Tofino Cantina in 2009, and now includes locations in Vancouver and Victoria, and their three food trucks.
Tacofino Yaletown is aiming to open up this summer. Follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for the latest news.
