A massive Christmas tree at Surrey’s City Hall Plaza will be lit for all to see on Saturday, November 21.
Surrey Mayor, Linda Hepner and council, along with Santa and Frozen’s Queen Elsa and Anna will take part in lighting the 55-foot tree for the Surrey Tree Lighting Festival, with festivities beginning at noon.
The lighting will take place at approximately 6:30 p.m. and the evening will also include performances, story-telling, road hockey, arts and crafts, Santa Claus, a ferris wheel, and more. The SFU Holiday Trolley will also take revelers from Surrey City Mall to City Hall for the event.

- Billy & Elton: The Legacy
- Soundscape Choir
- The Season Singers
- Noel Carollers
Attendees are also encouraged to bring non-perishable food for the Surrey Food Bank and new toys for the Surrey Christmas Bureau to help those less fortunate in the community.
