Surrey Sherriff shirts take aim at city's criminal reputation

After Mayor Linda Hepner’s infamous “I’m not the Sheriff” comment about the latest gang war in Surrey, and a string of 19 shootings in 35 days, local company Surrey Shirts decided there needed to be a new Sheriff in town, one that is not afraid to comment about ongoing crime, targeted shootings and gangland slayings in the suburb.

The “Surrey Sheriff” t-shirt features a bold SUR/REY bordered top and bottom with bright yellow police crime scene tape that is becoming an all too common sight in the Vancouver suburb.

This is the third Surrey Shirt design they have produced with an anti-crime message including their controversial “Surrey – the future dies here” and “Better Safe Than Surrey.”
