RCMP looking for shooter after transit police officer shot in Surrey

UPDATE 5:38 pm: Surrey RCMP has confirmed a transit police officer was shot and has been transported to hospital. Police are actively trying to locate the suspect, who may be armed.

We can confirm that a @TransitPolice officer has been shot and transported to an area hospital. We are actively looking for a suspect who may be armed. Please continue to avoid the area around the Scott Road Skytrain.
