The Surrey farmer who flooded his farm last December to create a massive outdoor ice rink for everyone’s public enjoyment is back at it again!
Thanks to this week’s sub-zero temperatures, farmer Jas Singh has been able to flood his farm again to create a hard surface to skate on.
God’s Little Acre Farm at 16582 40th Avenue in Surrey opened this morning for skating, and the event will be by donation to help cover operating costs of the event and the 160,000 lbs. of produce the farm grows for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society each year.
The outdoor rink will be open today (Friday, Feb. 7) and tomorrow (Saturday, Feb. 8).
