Canada Day at the Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre

Canada Day/City of Surrey

What: The Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre will have a plethora of Canada Day activities, including amusement rides, food trucks, live performances by Bif Naked and Our Lady Peace, rodeo zone and kids zone, and more. The event wraps up with a massive fireworks display at dusk.

Sounds of Summer Music Series

What: Surrey’s free Sounds of Summer concert series brings toe-tapping tunes to beautiful park settings. Bring blankets or folding chairs to enjoy each performance. Parking will be limited at some locations.

What: The premier women’s softball event of the season, the 2019 Canada Cup International Softball Championship, will showcase some of the best female athletes. The tournament will host national and elite club teams from across Canada and the world.

Noontime Notes at Central City

Artist Talk: Sara Khan + Zoya Siddiqui

What: Meet Sara Khan at the Surrey Art Gallery for an in-depth discussion of the works on display in Suraj Kinare. She will be joined by artist Zoya Siddiqui to speak about her personal background, artistic influences, and the themes that have informed the development of her paintings. There will be a Q&A session after the talk. Part of the Indian Summer Festival.

Surrey Latin Festival

What: Surrey Latin Festival is the place where you will enjoy the Latin culture – its food, dance, folklore, music and performance – in the company of family and friends. Both days will be filled with amazing talent on the main stage for the whole family. Eat to your heart’s content by experiencing the yummy creations from the Latin food vendors and finish it off by visiting the little beer garden. There will be lots of great purchases to be made at the booths offering products.

Honeybee Festival

What: Surrey Fusion Festival is celebrating its 12th anniversary this summer. Western Canada’s largest multicultural event is a massive two-day event focused on music, culture, and food. Known for having dozens of pavilions serving up grub from all over the globe, Surrey Fusion Festival is an event you should definitely arrive at hungry.

South Surrey Community Festival
