Concord Pacific, the makers of bland glass towers in Vancouver (see North East False Creek) has come to the rescue of bland, but important towers in Surrey.
These towers are important for a few reasons. One it reiterates Surrey’s ability to ultimately one day become our region’s second downtown. Two, for the people who purchased those units, they can rest knowing that a reputable developer will complete the project. Lastly, it will become a gateway for other significant projects to come on board. I’m sure there are other reasons but three is good enough for now.
Know this, one day, in the next 20 years or so Surrey will be to Vancouver what Mississauga is to Toronto or Oakland is to San Francisco. Don’t worry Vancouverites even with all that land , there are very few reasons to cross that bridge and go to Surrey unless you work or live there even in the future. How do I know this? My time machine of course.
