Body found in Surrey park believed to be homicide

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has been called in following the discovery of a body in Bog Park.

The body was found on Sunday afternoon at 2 pm lying in the Surrey park with a gunshot wound. As IHIT takes over the investigation, the scene will be cordoned off for most of the day to collect and process evidence.

The victim hasn’t officially been identified yet, although a tentative identification was made and the next of kin are being notified.
