Support the Cerebral Palsy Association of BC at the annual Life Without Limits Gala

Dec 20 2017, 3:47 am

Join the celebration of living a life not constrained by limitations or disabilities at the annual Life Without Limits Gala. The annual function celebrates the successes and dedication of the Cerebral Palsy Association of BC and is one of three special fundraising events hosted by the organization every year.

The Life Without Limits Gala welcomes Carla Qualtrough, MP for Delta, Minister of Sport and Persons with Disabilities, who will be giving the opening remarks. Before she was elected in 2015, Ms Qualtrough was a human rights lawyer and competed in the 1988 and 1992 Winter Paralympics. The event features neuroscientist and world renowned expert Dr. Ryan CN D’Arcy, a professor at Simon Fraser University who has used technology to make the human brain better.

With a goal of raising $50,000 towards hosting programs for people with cerebral palsy, the gala also includes a sit-down dinner, silent auction, and entertainment by David C. Jones, a Canadian Comedy Award nominee.
