Dec 19 2017, 1:48 pm

There are three fabled Super Bowl traditions nearly everyone should know – the ads, the game and the food. While two out of the three are mostly out of your control, excelling in the food-game is most definitely your contribution to the team.

We’ve found seven fabulous snacks that look better than tasty, and some even sound healthy!

The ultimate game food

Chicken and waffle sliders combine two food-favourites, fried chicken and breakfast food. Head over to the Food, Folks and Fun blog for the recipe, or come up with your own version. Eggos anyone?

Tasty footballs

We can’t quite think of a meal easier than home-made pizza, especially when it looks like a football. For this snack, it’s all about the presentation, so if you know something about strategically placed pepperoni, this one is for you. Click through to Babble Food for the full recipe.

The famous Snackadium

While it may not be easy, those of you with an architectural vision may enjoy putting this masterpiece together. The options are totally up to you, and we found this impressive list of examples for inspiration. If you like the one pictured below, look it up on the Home and Heart DIY blog.

The classic crowd-pleaser

Pigs in a blanket is the famous unhealthy snack that appeals to all meat eaters. Buttery, salty, and rich with “protein”, these don’t look too hard to put together. In fact, this recipe uses pre-made crescent rolls, so the tricky part is already done. Plain Chicken has the full recipe, so rush over there.

Seahawks-spirit jello cups

Two flavours of jello and some cool whip – that is all you need for this dessert. We couldn’t find a recipe for this one, but if you can boil water and stir, it will be a major touchdown.
