Sunshine to return to Vancouver after week of rain

It’s been a dreary, rain-filled week in Vancouver but things will start looking up in the next few days as the sunshine is set to return.

According to Environment Canada, the sunshine is expected to begin on Sunday and carry on through to Thursday, with highs reaching 24°C on Wednesday.

Before the sun arrives, we’ll have to make do with a bit more rain. According to Environment Canada, “rain at times heavy ending this morning then mainly cloudy with 60 percent chance of showers. Wind southeast 40 km/h gusting to 60 becoming southwest 20 this morning.”

On Saturday, there is a 60% chance of showers, which will turn into a mix of sun and cloud.
