Well this past week has been a hectic one for me. I’ve been busy doing deals on the other side of the continent with douchebag New York bankers. These guys are so far up their ass it’s unbelievable. However I digress, the current state of the economy lends itself to such cheap chicanery.
Now I know there is a recession and the people at BR are happy as fuck, screaming “I told you so”, at any chance they get, and other nonsensical socialist/quasi-communist gibberish.Yeah, the economy may be down, but I don’t give a shit, it’s just part of the economical cycle. When in history has the economy continued to go up? Have real estate prices always climbed continuously higher? Never, the media tends to sensationalize things and so do socialists who prey on the weak minded and brainwash them with their bullshit propaganda. Are they any different than the media? I don’t think so, same shit, different pile. Left or right, whatever. I guess rationality eludes them.
This week was a busy one for Canucks fans. Trevor Linden had his jersey retired and the following day we sign Mats Sundin. I for one think it was a smart signing, others such as Vancity Allie and Miss 604 have some serious reservations about it. We’ll just have to wait and see.
So I come back home to a winter wonderland. So much for global warming eh, perhaps it just is part of the normal earth cycle. However, if debunked then scientists won’t get funding to solve “global warming”. Another media sensationalization gone to far me thinks.
Tonight I’ll be heading on over to The Vogue to catch Metric, then tomorrow I’m leaving on a jet plane back to NY to finalize deals. I’m gonna miss Vancouver’s first white Christmas in ages.
