Summer Glau, known for her roles on hit TV series like Joss Whedon’s Firefly and Dollhouse, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and most recently as a recurring on Syfy’s Alphas, has been cast in a recurring role on Vancouver-filmed television show Arrow.

So what does this mean for you? Simple – it means she will be making Vancouver her home away from home during the filming of the show (currently in production), which kicks off its second season on October 9.

Glau is set to play the dangerous Isabel Rochev (appearing in the season 2 premiere), Vice President of Acquisitions of Stellmoor International, a company looking to take over Queen Consolidated.

Not much else is known of Isabel, except as part of a list of names in Robert Queen’s book of corrupt and powerful people in Starling City.

But in the DC Comics universe, the villainous Isabel appears in several Green Arrow issues and does in-fact rises from being a slave to accomplishing her mission of running Queen Industries, returning the company back to its former glory – so I guess we will just have to see how this plays out.
