Stuff the Bus charity event returns to Capilano University

After a five-year hiatus, Landsea Tours & Adventures’ Stuff the Bus charity event returns to North Vancouver’s Capilano campus.

The purpose of the event is to literally stuff an empty bus with much-needed winter supplies for local community services and charities.

This year, the Tourism and Outdoor Recreation Student Association (TRECSA) will be joining Landsea Tours to bring back the legendary charity event to Capilano Univerity.

From November 28 to 30, students and community members are welcome to drop off donations and help stuff the bus. All will go toward programs for at-risk youth at the Covenant House Vancouver.

There will be free (limited) coffee for those who donate, compliments of Capilano University.

Accepted donations include:

• Clean, undamaged clothing (for 18+)
• Winter jackets and outerwear (for 18+)
• Footwear (for 18+)
• New socks
• Bedding (Single/Double)
• MP3 Players and Headphones
• Unused and unopened hygiene products

Where: Capilano University Cedar Courtyard – 2055 Purcell Way, North Vancouver

When: Monday, November 28, to Wednesday, November 30, from 9 am to 4 pm

Admission: Free! Just bring donations.
