Motorcycle and auto enthusiasts rejoice. This Saturday, August 22, the Lords of Gastown host their 2nd Annual #StrongNFree Show & Shine at the Waldorf Hotel. The Show & Shine is open to all motorcycles and custom cars and anyone who wants to join in. Over 500 participants are expected to attend the event.
#StrongNFree will have a plethora of different activities to take part in. There will be a beer garden, a live band, DJs, the bike + auto show, vendors, a pop up shop and more.
The festivities start at 2 p.m. going all day and will end with an afterparty at the notorious Waldorf Hotel Tiki Bar. Onsite partners include EastVan Ink (pioneers of the immediately recognizable East Van Cross), HammerDrop Speed Shop, Last Call and more.
The inspiration for the inaugural #StrongNFree Show & Shine started last year when the Lords launched their ‘Motorcycle Meditation Riding Group’ through Facebook. Co-founders Tyler Hazelwood + Nik Markovina noticed there were no easily accessible community groups where riders could link up for short/long trips out of Vancouver.
The group launched last year and has already grown over 300 members with weekly rides leaving from the Lords Showroom every Wednesday and Sunday at 49 Dunlevy in Railtown. This traction inspired the creation of the first #StrongNFree Show & Shine in 2014.

When: August 22, 2015 from 3 p.m. All bikes and cars need to be at the Waldorf between 12:30pm – 2:30pm.
