A few years ago, the City of Vancouver finally realized it was becoming a boring city that relied way too much on it’s natural beauty to get by. Now, in the summers at least, there are always a few festivals going on.

This past weekend was the Latin Vancouver festival Carnaval Del Sol and it was a roaring success, just look at the crowds.

The city needs more of this as it grows up and it seems city council has realized this. Glad to see that the “old” way of thinking is finally being buried 6 feet deep.
