Everyone’s favourite funny man, Steve Carell, began shooting on his new film in Vancouver this week.
The Women of Marwen, directed by Robert Zemekis, was filming a scene in Champlain Heights on Tuesday, August 29.
The star-studded filming follows a man, Carell, who survives a brutal attack and uses toy figures as therapy. He has created a town, called Marwencol, and places a figure of himself, and many others into the Belgian WWII town.
The film also stars Game of Thrones actress Gwendoline Christie, as well as Diane Kruger, Leslie Mann and Carell’s Despicable Me co-star Kristen Wiig.
