There’s luxury, and then there’s a Stefano Ricci suit.
After nearly four decades, the privately-owned Italian label has become a top-tier name in the fashion industry, becoming synonymous with luxurious, high-quality menswear and accessories.
Founded in 1972 by Florence-based designer Stefano Ricci and his wife Claudia, the company has been associated with numerous high-profile individuals (they once created an $80,000 tie adorned with 100 diamonds for Elton John, and their designs have been worn by the likes of Michael Buble, Andrea Bocelli, and David Foster).

They have now expanded to 60 mono-brand boutiques worldwide — including a store in Vancouver.
On Thursday, March 14, and Friday, March 15, you’re invited to drop by the Stefano Ricci store in on West Georgia Street to experience a Made-to-Measure tailoring experience — with Stefano Ricci’s master tailor travelling from Italy for the one-day event.
Sessions are extremely limited and by appointment only, made by emailing the Vancouver store or contacting the store at 604-559-7800.
The designer store brings luxurious menswear to Vancouver, as well as the label’s signature line of accessories including fragrances, pocket squares, pens, ties, belts, bags, wallets, and leather goods. With their belts hand-made in Italy, they are one of the finest belts produced in the world — highlighting their place as a top status symbol in fashion.
While other brands are typically made from heavy, durable fabrics like Super 100-grade wool, Stefano Ricci’s suits start at the finer, more delicate Super 150 — even going all the way to an ultrafine Super 240 and other fabric with 24k-gold thread.
You can browse the Stefano Ricci collection by visiting the store in Vancouver, or to learn more, visit their website.
