Entrepreneurship@UBC is hosting another “Startup Weekend at UBC”, open to all young innovators who are interested in building their entrepreneurial skill set and sharing ideas with like-minded people! If you’re a developer, designer, marketer, product manager or simply a startup enthusiast, this is the event for you.
Beginning with open mic pitches on Friday, attendees bring their best ideas and inspire others to join their team. Over Saturday and Sunday, teams focus on customer development, validating their ideas, practicing LEAN Startup Methodologies, and building a minimal viable product.
On Sunday evening teams demo their prototypes and receive valuable feedback from a panel of experts.

Students, recent graduates and aspiring entrepreneurs alike are welcome to participate in this edition of Startup Weekend hosted at UBC. The event features prominent judges from the Vancouver entrepreneurship community, advice from experienced mentors from multiple industries and prizes that will help your venture down the path to success.
