CEO Brian Niccol announced changes to Starbucks US operations during an earnings call on January 28, stating that the company has been focused on “simplifying” its menu.
“In the coming months, you’ll see us begin to optimize our menu offerings, resulting in a roughly 30% reduction in both beverages and food,” he said, adding that the changes will be made by the end of fiscal year 2025.
