Your pricey coffee habit might be getting a few cents more expensive starting Tuesday, July 7, when a few Starbucks drinks will have increased pricing in Canada.
The pricing changes in Canada are timed alongside those happening this week in the United States, however as a Starbucks Canada media representative explains, they are not similar.
“In Canada, adjustments will be between 10 and 20 cents on a few of our larger sizes,” according to Starbucks Canada.
Here’s the breakdown of increases in Canada:
- 10 cents on Venti brewed in some provinces
- 20 cents on Venti and Grande Lattes/Caffe Mochas in some provinces
As Starbucks Canada points out, these particular beverages have not had their prices upped in one and a half to three years. “90 per cent of Canadian Starbucks beverages are not changing, including some of our most popular options and sizes,” notes their media rep.
