It’s back! For one night only, the production duo of Lace Cadet and Bruce Wang are returning to the holodeck of the Starship WISE Hall for a sexy and hilarious night of geeky burlesque fun. With hosts Lace Cadet and the incomparable Tini Lune, and featuring internationally renowned model, actress and performer Little Miss Risk, boldly go on a burly-Q journey from Star Trek to Aliens to Harry Potter fanfic and far, far beyond!
Bruce Wang, one of the producers of the annual event, says “the show last year was such a hit with our audience that we decided we had to make it a regular event. So many of us grew up with Star Trek, and combining it with the irreverent and fun sexiness that is part of burlesque in Vancouver seemed like too good an idea to pass up.” Sexy Star Trek isn’t the only part of the show though, and the show is set up so that performances will cover a variety of nerdy themes. Bruce says “any nerdy topic is fair game. Alien chestbursters, Norse gods, Harry Potter, Disney villains, and even Alice in Wonderland will all be making appearances.”
The show beams down Feb 28th at the WISE Hall (1882 Adanac St). Tickets can be bought in advance for $15 at http://beammeupsexy.bpt.me, or $20 at the door. Doors open at 8pm, the show starts at 9pm.
