Stanley Park Halloween Ghost Train 2011 (Contest)

Step right up and witness death-defying acts of human dare-devilry at the Stanley Park Ghost Train’s Circus of Disaster! The Ghost Train is a must-do Halloween event for young families with the right mix of fear and fun. It runs every night from October 7 – 31 (6 pm to 10 pm Sunday – Thursday & 6 pm to 11 pm Friday – Saturday).  For the price of a train ticket, riders can also enjoy face painting, crafts, the haunted maze and other family fun activities. Plus, the Ghost Train is fully covered so riders can enjoy the trip rain or shine.

Additional special events:

  • Pumpkin carving nights Tuesday, Oct. 11 and Tuesday, Oct. 18 starting at 6PM. The first 50 families can carve a Jack O’Lantern to take home.
  • Costume contest night (with prizes) on Tuesday, Oct. 25.
  • The Stanley Park Ecology Society leads “Creatures of the Night” theatrical walks and they sell hot buttered popcorn from the Cob House in the plaza.

The train opens on October 7th and the tickets are good for rides on the train up until Oct. 20th. Contest ends October 14th, 2011 at noon.  The winner will be drawn at random and your name will be forwarded to will call.
