Spice Girls drag show brings Spice World to Rio Theatre in July

On July 21, five of Vancouver’s fave drag superstars are taking to the stage as the legendary British band, the Spice Girls.
On the event page, the organizers say the Spice Girls will come alive onstage at the Rio Theatre and their movie SPICE WORLD will be taken to a whole other level.
The team will perform a live “shadowcast” in drag in front of the movie, acting out SPICE WORLD as it plays right behind them.
What’s more, they’re encouraging attendees to “get your platform shoes, British accents, and Union Jack dresses ready – Let your inner-Posh out, gurl.”
So get ready to slam your body down and wind it all around with Posh, Sporty, Scary, Baby and Ginger!
