The stress of becoming an adult is hard. Student loans, bills, career prospects — we feel you. And the looming thought that you’re going to have to work hours and hours at your job to pay off your student debts doesn’t help either!

But it doesn’t all have to be doom and gloom.

Tech company Vivint SmartHome has opportunities for a summer job that could do wonders for you, helping you develop useful skills as well as earn some real money.

Vivint is the leader in smart home security and automation, and with the Smart Home Industry projected to be a $100 billion industry by 2020, Vivint Smart Home is one of the fastest growing, most innovative, and awarded companies in North America — including being included on Forbes Best Employers List.

The tech company also places an importance on giving back — this October, Vivint Gives Back by sending over 100 of their Canadian employees to India to build a school for children with autism and other learning disabilities. Vivint will also be sending many of its employees on Impact trips to South Africa and Mexico.

So what does the summer sales position involve?

Each summer, Vivint sales representatives will go door-to-door in their city, selling Vivint home systems. Once a system is sold, technicians follow close behind, installing the security systems at a rapid pace. Young adults may sell three to five systems a day and earn $20,000 to $30,000 (or more) per season.

Vivint’s summer program has seen thousands (many while in college) go through their sales program system to either graduate debt free, buy rental properties, start their own business, or excel in the professional workforce.

Not only that, but you’ll be able to spend the summer networking and getting to know like-minded individuals at a company that values its employees, hard work, and most importantly, fun.

For more information and current opportunities at Vivint, visit their careers page, or forward your resume here for Summer Sales opportunities. You could be on your way to earning real money and experience this summer.
