Looking for a little love in your life right meow?
Starting today until July 26, all adult cats at BC SPCA locations are half price. Think about it like this: It’s all the love at just 50% of the cost.
Shelters across the province are brimming with feline companions, and the animal welfare agency is hoping the promotion will encourage people to consider making adoption a reality.
Community relations manager Lorie Chortyk says while many people just want to bring home a small kitten, adult cats are usually calmer, more settled and they’re usually litter trained.
“So many adult cats are waiting for loving, forever homes – why not come and see if one of them is the purr-fect match for you?”
There’s also a bonus to this sale: For every cat adopted out, another space is freed up to save another sweet soul.
Cats are considered adult at six months of age, and fees are normally $90 to $175, depending on the branch. Fees include spay/neuter surgery and microchip/tattoo.
To find your match, check out the agency’s website to search for adoptable adults, or visit the location nearest you.
