South Granville just entered its Euro-summer era

Ever wanted your own Bridgerton moment? The Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra is taking over the plaza to play symphonic renditions of modern “girly pop” anthems. Picture yourself sipping a drink while a classical orchestra covers Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso.”

Sip and shop your way through the neighbourhood at GranVino Wine Walk on Aug. 15, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. This premium, ticketed wine-and-nosh tour pairs your favourite local boutiques with top BC wineries for the ultimate summer afternoon.

Along with the beautiful shops, cafes, and restaurants you already know and love, South Granville is hosting weekly programming until the end of summer.

There’s plenty on the lineup to keep your summer calendar full. Every Thursday through September 24, you can stock up on local goods at the Graze Mini Produce Markets. If you want to unwind, catch a free Bend & Flow Yoga session on select Sundays (July 12 and 26, and August 9 and 23).

And to really lean into that Euro-summer energy? Round up your friends for Plaza Pours Wine Tastings on alternating Thursdays (July 9 and 23, and August 6 and 20). Sign-up is required.
