Vancouver’s hottest summer event might just be this unique sip-and-walk wine social
Is there anything better than sipping on a crisp glass of white wine in the summertime? Well, if you’re in the mood for a seasonal adventure, check out South Granville’s exciting sip-and-shop event.
Keep your eyes on the horizon for GranVino Wine Walk, this season’s hottest wine tasting event in South Granville. A walkable event that combines the fun of wine tasting, shopping, art, and exciting restaurants, the GranVino Wine Walk is a one-day experience you don’t want to miss!
Steps and sips
Get ready for a full day of summer fun on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., and meander through the event’s 20+ boutiques, galleries, and showrooms. Each venue will be pouring a unique wine blend, selected by the experts.
Grab a taste from top local wineries, including Red Rooster from the vines of Penticton, to Tinhorn Creek’s unique Okanagan blends, and OG, award-winning wines from Gray Monk Estate Winery, a B.C. favourite since 1972.
Cider lovers will also enjoy GranVino with Bowen Island Cider House on site, pouring local ciders made from heirloom apples!
Each participating business will provide you with a special tasting and then will stamp your card, indicating you’ve been there and done that! Your ticket also unlocks some limited-edition swag: a GranVino tote bag and tasting cup.
Shopping and supporting local
Sip on your pinot and get your shop on! Some of South Granville’s favourite businesses will be participating, including Kingdom Jewelry, Black Goat Cashmere, Uno Langmann Gallery, The Latest Scoop, and way more.

Italian summer vibes
Explore at your own pace! This is a full-day event that takes inspiration from Italian aperitivo culture, a daily tradition centred on drinks, small bites, and community. Take it easy, enjoy the August sun, and treat your taste buds to quality sips and nibbles in an Italian style, without a plane ticket!
GranVino Wine Walk tickets can be purchased online through Eventbrite and must be presented at check-in upon entry to the event. Tickets, if still available, will be on sale until 4 p.m. on Aug. 16 – but purchasing in advance is highly recommended!
