A Kitsilano legacy

Tamas McGillivray/Sophie’s Cosmic Cafe
Since 1988, Sophie’s Cosmic Cafe has been a Kits favourite, serving up real-life comfort food with a side of Vancouver funk. The cafe’s bright pink facade and eclectic decor are always inviting and welcoming.
Mixed among the vintage toys, tin lunch boxes, and old-school signs, the cafe also has many pieces of original artwork from national and international artists like Ken Lum and Fred Herszog.
As a family-run business, Sophie’s dinner reopening marks a new chapter in the restaurant’s bright future, and this is your invitation to come on down and try out the fresh flavours!
