The Social Concierge, the creative minds behind The Deighton Cup and Diner en Blanc, is reviving a fan favourite event for the summer.
The creative and event design agency will be hosting another physically distant celebration — a virtual summer soiree of the Candlelight Club.
The Candlelight Club is described as a massive, nationally connected yet physically distant dinner party. The virtual broadcast, spanning multiple time zones, includes music, cuisine, and candlelight company.
It also features plenty of top restaurants and chef personalities for a cuisine-focused experience. So how does it work?
Participants can either register for free and join the livestream entertainment broadcast or purchase a ticket to the virtual reality social experience.
The dinner party allows for participants to gather in small groups of guests and dine together while sharing the live broadcast and online connection. Users will be able to navigate a virtual, 2D environment with stages, activations, and plenty of surprises.
As far as cuisine goes, The Social Concierge has teamed up with some of the most popular restaurants in each host city to prepare multi-course meals and cocktail kits, which can be purchased separately.
The event will take place on Thursday, August 20, across three different cities, each with a different starting time: Toronto (6 pm EST), Calgary (7 pm MST), and Vancouver (6 pm PST).
In addition to activations, participants can also look forward to pre-show contests, in-event activities, games, and other forms of interactive entertainment.
